Excerpts from the register of baptisms (1602 – 1613) and the register of marriages (1601 – 1613) of the parish of Brbinj, i.e. the oldest surviving registers of the parish of Brbinj, are kept in the Archives of HAZU in Zagreb under the signature IV a 80/15. It is believed that these excerpts from the registry books of the Brbinj parish were torn from a once large manuscript that had 188 leaves in 1829 and was kept in the Zadar captaincy, so there is still a possibility of finding the rest of these registry books.

In the following, I provide information about the baptized child, his parents and godparents, where it is registered, then information about the groom and bride and their godparents.

I got these excerpts from the registry books in the Archives of HAZU in Zagreb for a very limited time, also the manuscript is difficult to read in some parts, so my transliteration from Glagolitic to Latin is somewhat uncertain and a control transliteration is needed. Nevertheless, I believe that the obtained data are suitable for genealogical research.
